Easy to Use USB Data Logger

There are two types of USB data loggers. The first one is disposable USB data logger. Another terminology for this data logger is single use USB data logger. The customer can use this only once and after completion of the recording, customer cannot reuse it. The main application is to use in transportation of medicines, food, blood etc. The second type is multi use USB data logger. We can use this USB temperature logger any number of times. In this case, after the recording, we can download the data and reuse any number of times. There are two categories available in this series. The first one is for recording only temperature. The second one is for recording temperature & humidity.

VAC-V1T Single use, Single-trip Temperature Recording Data Logger with LED indicators (No display)

Our single use, disposable data logger model VAC-V1T is a USB type model which produces PDF, Excel and Txt reports automatically just by inserting into a PC.

1. This single trip data logger can record over 12,990 readings. This means that it can record for almost 45 days with a recording interval of 5 minutes.
2. It is compatible with Linux, PC and MAC systems. Hence you can generate report in any computer without worrying about the operating system
3. You can record data to any desired time interval from reading every 1 second to reading every 24 hours.
4. This series of disposable loggers have 4 models with display and without display and also with or without calibration.
5. You can place the data logger in a temperature range of -40 °C to +80 °C or -40°F to +176°F. Also you can record the data within this range.
6. The temperature readings have a maximum error of ±0.3°C.
7. It has an internal sensor. Models with external sensor can be supplied on specific request.
8. It has a high resolution of 0.01°C.
9. The time error every year will be a maximum of ±15 minutes per year.
10. The user can start recording of temperature by pressing and holding the start button on the data logger for few seconds.
11. You can also start the recording function at a certain date and time by programming it accordingly.
12. In all modes of starting, you can program a delay period. This is mainly for the data logger to adjust the temperature to the recording environment.
13. If you want the recording to start upon reaching a specific temperature, you can program the single use data logger accordingly.
14. In order to stop the recording, the user can press and hold the stop button for few seconds.
15. Also you can program the data logger to stop at a certain date and time.
16. If you want the recording to stop after a specific number of days or weeks, you can program accordingly.
17. If the temperature goes or above the programmed limits, there are 4 LEDs to indicate the same. Two of them are Red colour and two of them in Green colour. Also there is a green LED to indicate that the temperature never exceeded the limits.
18. The sensor reaches exact readings within 7 minutes (T90) in moving air.
19. The battery type S type cells, but not replaceable by the user.
20. Upon completion of the trip ,after stopping the recording, the data will be saved within the single use data logger. You can simply insert into any computer to generate the report automatically.
21. It generates the files type ZLG, TXT, CSV and PDF automatically. It supports all languages.
22. The user can export the report file types ZLG, TXT, CSV and PDF.
23. The programming software is free of charge.

We can provide this model with 3 point calibration for temperature as per international standards. The calibration report is traceable. The calibration report is stored within the USB data logger. You can access the same by clicking a link inside the report. All other technical details are same as the previous model VAC-V1T. These are especially for medicines, vacccines and similar high accuracy applications.

Single use USB temperature data logger Model USB pdf without display

This is a plug and play device, which can download the report without any special software. It will generate three reports viz. Microsoft Excel, Adobe pdf & Text reports. When you insert the USB data logger into a computer, it acts as a USB memory stick and you can see all the three reports inside this drive.

Features of USB Temperature Data logger

• There is a start and stop button for starting and stopping the data recording.
• There are 5 LEDs on the USB temperature logger to show various alarms.
• It has a capacity to record 7928 readings. The customer can program it as 15 days recorder, 30 days recorder, 45 days recorder, 60 days recorder, 90 days recorder etc.
• Customer can decide the programming interval and the total duration of recording. If you want to record the temperature every 5 minute, it will last for 27 days. If you record every 10 minutes, the recording will last 54 days and so on.
• The data logger will generate reports automatically in pdf, Excel and text formats. If you do not have pdf and excel software, you can still see the report using the notepad software, which is freely available.
• This USB Temperature data logger complies with regulations of 21 CFR part 11.
• These USB temperature loggers are reprogrammable up to the first use.

Alerts displayed by the LEDs on the USB temperature data logger.

• If the green LED is active, it means that the temperature did not exceed lower or higher limits
• If the first Red LED above green LED is active, this means that the temperature exceeded the first high alert level.
• If the second Red LED above green LED is active, this means that the temperature exceeded the first and second high alert level.
• If the first Blue LED below green LED is active, this means that the temperature went below the first low alert level.
• If the second Blue LED below green LED is active, this means that the temperature went below the second low alert level.

We have two types of USB data loggers with regard to the calibration. The first type of USB temperature logger is the economical model with a separate test certificate. We test each of the data loggers and we issue a test report. However, this is not equivalent to a NIST traceable calibration report

Single use USB Temperature data logger with internal calibration report

This model of USB temperature logger has an inbuilt calibration report. While you insert the USB data logger and generate recorded temperature report, the last page will show the calibration report of the same device. This calibration report is traceable to NIST. This is a 3 point calibration certificate. If your customer at the receiving end wants a calibrated data logger, this model can be used.

Disposable USB temperature data logger Model USB pdf (LCD display)

This is the next generation of the above model of USB temperature logger, which has an LCD display. You can see the following details in the LCD screen.

• • Current temperature readings.
  • Maximum and Minimum readings.

• Highest and lowest readings recorded.
• Duration for which the highest and lowest readings were recorded.

Similar to the previous model of USB temperature logger, we have two models regarding the calibration report.

These kind of USB data loggers are bigger devices with LCD display and bigger memory capacity. This has more features than the previous models.
