This is a simple monitoring system which can record Temperature, humidity etc. and generate phone call and SMS alerts without Local Computer network and even when there is a power failure. The reference number is VAC-M-TV2.

Salient Features of Temperature & Humidity Monitoring System:

Few of the major advantages of the Temperature monitoring and alert system VAC-M-TV2 are listed below:

  1. 4 Sensors (Temperature or Temperature plus Humidity) Thermistor, Thermocouple etc.
  2. If you don’t have local network, the whole system works independently without any computer connection. A laptop can be connected through USB cable for downloading the data as and when required.
  3. If you have a local Network, you can connect to the same for remote viewing.
  4. Each sensors has individual programming for sampling interval and upper and lower alert levels.
  5. Each sensor can store upto 80,000 readings. This means that each sensor will store upto 270 days if the sampling interval is 5 minutes. If the sampling interval is 10 minutes, it can record upto 540 days.
  6. Free Software for data download and remote connection
  7. The reports of the recordings can be generated in Excel or as a Graph.
  8. An optional alert system for Phone call and SMS alert.
  9. Optional Audible alarm, Strobe or Beacon light for local alerts.
  10. It works as a simple plug and play device without any complicated programming. We supply in preprogrammed condition. Simply connect and it starts working. Specially trained technician is not required.
  11. Temperature monitoring and recording is possible from -200°C to 1500°C. You have to inform the required temperature at the time of ordering.
  12. Suitable for Liquid Nitrogen Tanks at temperature of -200°C.
  13. No annual software charges.
  14. Can connect additional alerts such as power failure, water leakage, smoke, door opening to the alert system.

Applications of Temperature & Humidity Recording system VAC-M-TV2

The device is suitable for the following applications:

  1. Remote applications where computer connectivity & LAN network is not available.
  2. IF you have LAN network available, it can be connected to the network also.
  3. When you want to monitor temperature, humidity, power failure etc. in a single device
  4. When you want the device to work independently irrespective of Network failure, Power failure etc.
  5. When you want to monitor 4 nearby equipment (eg. Refrigerators, Freezers) or 4 nearby rooms.

Description of Stand alone Temperature & Humidity recording and alert system

The VAC-M-TV2, Temperature and Humidity Monitoring System has the capability to store a total of 320,000 readings combined for all the 4 sensors. If you record the data at an interval of 10 minutes, it will last for almost 540 days without interruption even if it is not connected to a Local Area Network. You may note that in case the sensor is Temperature and Humidity, each parameter will be able to record only 40,000 readings. So the ttal duration will become half compared to a temperature sensor.

This temperature and humidity sensors can take inputs from a variety of temperature sensors such as Thermocouple Thermistor etc. based on the range of the required temperature measurement. Hence you should specify the required temperature range at the time of ordering.

During normal operation, the screen will display the current temperature and humidity readings. If you want to see recorded data of any one of the sensors, you may simply touch on the relevant portion of the screen. Then the readings of this particular sensors will be displayed in the full screen. You can see graph of recorded data, alerts if any etc.

Free Software for downloading the data from the recording system

The free software is used for downloading the data from the recording system. If there is no local network, you can download using a USB cable. If it is connected to a computer network, you can download from a remote computer. If you are connecting to an local network, you do not need local download. However the data will be still available in the recording system. The data is available as Excel and chart formats. If you are connecting to a computer network, you can connect multiple recorders to a single software. So if you have 4 recording devices, each of them with 4 sensors, you will be monitoring and recording 16 different assets. If you are connecting all of them to refrigerators, you can monitor 16 refrigerators.

You can also see all the generated alerts through the software. Each Master Thermometer can monitor four different areas. Since the Master Thermometer can track four different temperatures and humidity readings simultaneously you only need one display for all four sensors. This lowers the cost of monitoring multiple areas and means that you only have to look at one display to see what the current conditions are for all four areas.

The above screen shows that you are seeing 4 different sensors. The first one is a combined sensor of temperature and humidity. The other three are temperature sensors. The display is possible either in Degree Centigrade or Fahrenheit.

The chart can be scrolled to the left or right to show earlier data. It can also be zoomed into or out of to show much more historical information. The chart is not only paperless it is never ending. Once all of the non-volatile memory is filled with data the newer data will roll over oldest data, so you will always have the last 80,000 measurements stored for each sensor.
