This is a touch screen (HMI) with complete control, monitoring and control panel for walk in freezer, cold room, chiller rooms etc. Entire controlling and monitoring systems for the cooling units and the entire cold room are incorporated in this panel

Major functions of the touch screen control panel are explained below.

  • The touch screen can control the cooling units of the cold chamber. The temperature can be increased or decreased on the touch screen.
  • Power on and off events of the entire chiller room will be monitored.
  • Monitoring and recording of cold chamber temperature with up to 12 sensors.
  • Monitoring and recording of cold chamber humidity with up to 12 sensors.
  • Monitoring Temperature of the condenser.
  • Monitoring Temperature of the evaporator.
  • The HMI (Human Machine Interface) is a touch screen control panel. You can see latest relevant readings and alerts if any. (Bear in mind that due to size limitation, only most important readings will be shown on screen)
  • Monitoring Temperature & humidity of the environment outside the cold room.
  • Continuous monitoring of the compressor state including on/off events. If the compressor is off for a certain duration, it will generate an alert.
  • Total operation hours of compressor and evaporator to schedule maintenance. Automatic email alert will be generated to schedule maintenance based on number of hours of operation.
  • Keeping track of duty cycle of compressor including defrost cycle.
  • The number of door openings and duration of door opening through a separate sensor. If the door is kept opened for a certain duration, a local alarm or beeper can be activated.
  • Alert system for Power Failure to the cooling units.
  • SIM card based Phone call, email & SMS alerts for the following parameters:
  • a) Temperature or humidity goes above or below programmed limits for a certain duration. Each sensors can be programmed for separate upper and lower limits and delay duration.

    b) Power failure alarm with a delay duration.

    c) Door opening alert with a delay limit.

    d) Maintenance reminders based on number of hours of operation.

  • The data can be monitored through Ethernet or internet.
  • The entire data will be continuously recorded. You can download the data on regular intervals for auditing purposes.
  • Back up power supply (optional feature) so that the data recording and alert system will continue even in case of power failure.
  • The system can be connected to your existing Building Management System (BMS) if required (optional features)
  • The functions and control are fully customizable by us before supply.
