VackerGlobal has won a large single contract to build 8 modular cold rooms in Saudi Arabia for a pharmaceutical industry. We offer different types of Cold rooms for different applications.
Dairy cold rooms
These cold rooms are ideal for Dairy applications as well for keeping any dairy products above 0°C. We have small milk producers and processors using our cold rooms in their backyard to store their products. Even if you are a home industry, you can still store the products yourself before further transportation. You can use it for products such as milk, cheese, curd etc. In such cases, we can provide an air inlet with a timer. Based on the number of door opening, you can always adjust the timer to permit correct fresh air intake.
Flower cold rooms
Our cold rooms are very well suited for flower cold rooms. As all flower dealers agree, if there is high air flow, the flower reduces its life. Normal cooling units produce high air flow which damages the flowers. However as you can imagine, a split AC unit does not produce high air flow. Hence, our units are most ideal for flower storage. Depending on the size of the cold room, you can install any number of AC units to achieve the desired temperature. Obviously, these cold rooms also can work on generators.
Meat cold rooms
Our cold rooms with split AC and window AC units can be definitely used for meat storage. We have many small meat distributors, hotels, restaurants etc. for such application. If you specify the application while ordering the cold room, we will make provision for drainage of water and blood. A customer can always provide the same at a later stage. It is important that lot of air shouldn’t enter the cold room through the drainage. Hence we provide a very small drainage valve to limit the entry of air.
Fruits & Vegetable cold room
One of the major applications for our cold rooms is by farmers. They use these cold rooms to store their produce directly from their farms. Even small farmers with just normal power supply can install one in their backyard. Even they can install one next to their farm and operate it through a portable generator. It is suitable for any type of fruits and vegetables. Also you can use for bulk storage and distribution by wholesalers and distributors. Obviously the initial cost, operation and maintenance charges will save you thousands of dollars.
Cold rooms on portable Generators
As these cold rooms are working on split or window AC units, it take only a small amount of power. For a small cold room, it requires only one split AC unit which will take less than 13A of power. As the size of the cold room increases, the number of AC units will increase. A small cold room can run continuously on a portable generator. Even in a remote area if you finish the fuel, the cold room can retain the temperature for couple of hours more. No one should open the doors during this time.
Industrial size cold room
Even though the split AC and window AC units are small, there is no limit to the size of the cold room. We have provided very huge cold rooms as can be seen in this photo. As the size of the cold room increases, the number of AC units will increase. We have our own design calculation to achieve your desired temperature. As mentioned elsewhere, we recommend a door opening frequency of maximum 6 times per hour. You can use such cold rooms for any of your applications at positive temperature.
Mortuary cold rooms
We can use these cold rooms for positive temperature morgues and mortuaries. We have customers having funeral homes using our products. We suggest a cold room with R value of 25 for all such applications. We can also provide racks if you require same. For all such applications, we recommend to precool the cold room in advance so that cooling time does not affect the stored items.
Container cold rooms
We can provide a customized 20ft. or 40ft. container cold room. You can use this for remote location also by connecting to a portable generator. If you require racks or shelfs inside the container, we can provide custom solutions. The container cold room is useful for storage of fruits, vegetables, meat etc. We are supplying container cold room around the world. We have already great experience in the region of Kenya, UAE, KSA and other regions.
