I notice that there are huge number of models apart from TTK 40E. What is the difference between these various models? How do I know whether I should select any other model other than TTK 40E?
A dehumidifier is selected based on its moisture removal capacity (technically known as de-humidification capacity) which is specified in liter per hour or liter per day. For the model TTK 40E, the maximum capacity is 14 liter per day. Is this a refrigeration dehumidifier? What other type is available?
Yes TTK 40E is refrigeration type de humidifier. They are also called condensation de-humidifier, since the principle used is to condense the moisture in the atmosphere and convert into water. The second type is desiccant type also known as adsorbent type de-humidifiers. In these type, a material known as adsorbent or desiccant is used to absorb the moisture in the air. Desiccant type dehumidifier is more for industrial purposes and for temperature below 10 Degree Centrigrade
