The CO-NO2 transmitter is a wall mounted transmitter (IP65 rated) which detects CO and NO2 simultaneously and manufactured by Evikon MCI Ltd, Estonia which specializes in gas detection systems. It is easy to use and it has two analog outputs settable at 4-20 mA or 0-10 V. The sensor can be attached or remotely.

Another important feature is, it has a digital interface for RS485 connections working on Modbus RTU protocol. The operating conditions of this CO-NO2 Transmitter is 0 to +50 °C temperature, 15 to 90 % RH (15 to 90 %RH non condensing*) and pressure 0.9 to 1.1 atm. It has a grey ABS plastic, wall mount and protection class IP65 enclosure. The dimensions of this CO-NO2 transmitter is H90 × W145× D55 mm. It has an IP65 secured remote sensor probe, shielded cable. The default length of this cable is 3.0 meters. The sensor heads are M25.

The CO-NO2 transmitter is an ideal for underground parking, boiler houses and other confined spaces, where it is possible to accumulate potentially toxic concentration of carbon monoxide and nitrogen dioxide. Also this transmitter can be used in ice skating arenas to check the air quality. Usually ice resurfacing equipments which  operate in closed arenas release CO and NO2 gases from the burning of fuel.
