The machines’s dehumidification process adheres to the TTR Trisorp Dual principle of operation. There are two ducts where process air and regeneration air separately flow and two fans through which each type of air is sucked in with a continuously rotating dessicant wheel in between. The process air flows into the dehumidification sector of the wheel where the silica gel takes its moisture and the resulting dry air is further directed to its outlet. The regeneration air, on the other hand, goes into the purging sector of the wheel. This sector allows the wheel to cool down and recover heat. Upon reaching the heater battery, the air heats up and passes through the regeneration sector of the wheel where it takes the moisture absorbed by the silica gel. This damp air is then discharged through its corresponding outlet. 

This process allows the desiccant dehumidifier to operate at air temperatures ranging from -20°C to 40°C and maximum relative humidity of 100% RH (non-condensing).
