Monitoring Data center hotspots

Irrespective of the size of the data center or servers, monitoring the environment of a data center is extremely important for full functionality. The environment conditions can vary unpredictably due to various reasons and proper monitoring and remedial actions is extremely important.
The general practice is that the environmental conditions of a server room is monitored at couple of locations around the room. However hotspots occur at different places around a server rack for various reasons and need to be monitored continuously.
Different areas of each server rack need to be monitored continuously for effective prevention of any overheating. Couple of sensors can be placed in different locations in each server rack and can be continuously monitored. The data will be stored in a centralized PC and event logs also will be recorded as and when occurs.
Various parameters such as temperature, humidity, door open condition, airflow, smoke etc, need to be monitored and recorded continuously.
Our solutions include such continuous monitoring and in case any of the parameters cross predefined limits, an automatic phone call is made to operators and a voice message is delivered indicating the type of fault. Also SMS will be delivered to all those operators. The phone calls will be made continuously until one of them picks up the phone and acknowledges the call by pressing the # button
