Job Description
We are looking for a Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate must have experience installing cold rooms, installing and maintaining chiller and freezer equipment, as well as knowledge and experience with electrical work. Requirements
- Technical diploma or certificate course
- Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology, or relevant field will be a plus
- 2+ years of experience in installation of cold room is a must
- Experience in installation and maintenance of chiller and freezer equipment
- Prior experience with air ventilation, duct work, and AHU maintenance is required
- Good knowledge and experience in electrical work such as cable termination, cable pulling, and cable joining
- Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site visits and installations
- Inspect, analyze, and troubleshoot systems and equipment
- Run tests and interpret the results to make effective recommendations
- Repair or replace faulty equipment
- Provide time and material cost estimates before starting a job
- Source replacement parts
- Negotiate with suppliers and clients
- Prepare reports, safety regulations, and preventative maintenance plans
